Dr. Lidia Blay is a breast surgeon at Hospital Universitari Germans Trias i Pujol (Barcelona, Spain), specializing in breast cancer surgery, minimally invasive breast surgery, and surgical innovation. She serves as President of the Catalan Society of Senology and is a scientific advisor to the Spanish Association of Surgeons (AEC). She is also an Associate Professor at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona.

Her clinical and research interests focus on endoscopic and robotic breast surgery, de-escalation of axillary surgery, breast reconstruction, and the development of innovative technologies to improve surgical precision and patient outcomes. She is actively involved in the implementation and dissemination of endoscopic nipple-sparing mastectomy (E-NSM) programs across Europe and regularly participates as faculty in international training courses.

Dr. Blay leads and collaborates on several research and innovation projects. She has authored multiple scientific publications and is committed to advancing minimally invasive approaches that improve quality of life for breast cancer patients.
